The Foundation for the Promotion and Accreditation of Economic Education supports projects and initiatives which promote e-learning in higher education.
Main projects in the area are as follows:
Econet - the Virtual Campus for Cooperation of Universities of Economics
The project aims at developing e-learning cooperation between five Polish universities of economics. At present, five online lectures with 25 participants (five from each university) have been implemented. Those lectures are: Leadership in organisations - analysis of best practice, The simulation game TEES, Making decisions with a use of hybrid models, IT infrastructure management, Creative strategy in advertising. Electronic Assesment Application (EAA)
EAA is an electronic grade application which supports individual teachers in traditional lectures. They can store information about students' grades and assess them. The application is available freely on the Foundation's website. More information at: http://www.fundacja.edu.pl/efo/ (in Polish).
The development of e-learning in higher education of economics
The development of e-learning in higher education of economics is an annual conference organized by the Foundation. The aim of the event is to continue an academic discussion about e-learning in higher education with a particular concern on the role of modern technologies which are implemented into teaching of economics. The Foundation is also a co-publisher of a bimonthly 'e-mentor'.
E-mentor magazine
Bimonthly e-mentor is an online and printed magazine dealing with e-learning, knowledge management, e-business, lifelong learning and curriculums in economics. Over 5 900 000 visits have been noted on the e-mentor website. The printed version (about 1200-1500 copies) is distributed freely to over educational institutions in Poland.
